A menu in one language costs you every guest who does not read it. TapTime holds every name and description in as many languages as you enable, and shows the guest the one their phone asks for.

Turn on the languages you can genuinely maintain. Two well-written languages beat five where three are half-done — a guest who switches to English and finds Bulgarian dish names has been let down twice.
Translate side by side
The translations tab puts your original next to each language, field by field, and marks what is still missing. Work down the list; the missing-translation markers are the to-do list.
- Category names, item names and descriptions are all translatable.
- So are variant labels — “large” has to be a word in every language.
- Prices are not: one price, shown in your currency, whatever language it is read in.
What the guest sees
The menu opens in the language the guest's phone asks for, when you publish that language, and falls back to your main one otherwise. There is a switcher at the top, and it lists language names — not two-letter codes and not flags, because a flag is a country and not a language.

Can I paste in a machine translation?
You can, and for a description it is often a fine starting point. Read it once before publishing — machine translation of food is where “bull's testicles” comes from.
Which languages should a tourist venue publish?
Your own, plus English, plus whichever nationality actually walks in. Look at where your guests come from rather than at a list of big languages.
Does adding a language cost extra?
No. Languages are part of the menu module, however many you enable.
