The same table booked twice
A phone booking and an online booking can be made for the same table and time. The conflict is often discovered only when both parties arrive.
Table reservations · Restaurants
Guests book a table at any time from your Instagram bio, Google profile or website and receive a confirmation email. Bookings, walk-ins and held tables share one floor plan with zones and seat counts, from 29 € a month for up to 5 tables.

This is the working booking form next to the evening's reservation list. Choose a time and the table is added to the list.
Guests open your booking link from Instagram, Google or your website, choose the date, time and party size, and receive a confirmation email. The page only offers tables that are free for that seating. With TapTime every booking appears on a live floor plan alongside phone bookings and walk-ins, with zones, seat counts and a buffer between seatings, so no table is booked twice.
When reservations are kept as a list, it is hard to see which tables are free, which zones are full and whether a table suits the party size.
A phone booking and an online booking can be made for the same table and time. The conflict is often discovered only when both parties arrive.
A walk-in seated at a table that is reserved later in the evening can leave the booked party waiting.
Covers per seating, table turns and zone capacity are spread across the book, the phone and the floor, which makes planning the service difficult.
Draw your floor plan once. Every booking is then assigned a table, every table has a status, and the list always matches the room.
Add the terrace, main room, bar and window tables, with round or square tables of any size. The plan reflects your actual layout.
A table for two is never offered to a party of six. Set the largest party that can book online; larger groups contact you directly.
Set the default seating duration and a buffer to reset the table. The next booking is only offered when the table is actually free.
Seat a walk-in with one tap and the table is marked busy for everyone. Hold a table for a regular guest. No table is booked twice.
Every booking for the evening with time, party size, table and status, plus total covers. Online, phone and walk-in bookings in one list.
Embed the booking form on your website and use the same link in your Instagram bio, Google Business profile and WhatsApp. Every channel leads to the same availability.
No hardware and no onboarding call. The floor plan takes about ten minutes, and the booking rules a few more.
Add zones and tables, and set each table's shape and seat count. Use the same numbers as your actual tables.
Set opening hours, slot step, default duration, buffer between seatings, minimum notice and the largest party that can book online.
Bookings appear on the plan. Seat walk-ins, hold tables and follow the covers list. Share the booking link so guests can reserve online.
| Reservation book compared with a live floor plan. | Book and pencil | TapTime floor plan |
|---|---|---|
| Two bookings, one table | Discovered when guests arrive | A booked table is never offered again |
| Walk-ins | Seated without checking later bookings | Seated on the plan, booked tables protected |
| Matching party size | Depends on who took the booking | Seat counts determine what is offered |
| Table turns | Estimated during service | Seating duration and buffer set the next slot |
| Covers for the evening | Counted from the book | One total at the top of the list |
| Cost | Empty tables and seating conflicts | From 29 € a month for up to 5 tables |
Cancellations, no-shows and completed seatings are sent from the floor plan as events for your team, ad platforms and tools. All of it is included with table reservations at no extra cost: no add-on, no higher tier and no per-event fee.
How conversions, webhooks and the API workOnly bookings guests made online count as conversions, once, however often they are reconfirmed. Set a value per booking, optionally multiplied by party size, so larger parties carry more value.
Choose which events the host's Telegram group or Teams channel receives, for example cancellations and no-shows rather than every booking. Each message arrives within seconds with the name, time, covers and a link to the dashboard.
Zapier or Make can add every no-show and completed booking to Google Sheets with the table, time and party size. Over time, this shows which seatings are most affected by no-shows.
A read-write key can mark a booking as no-show, completed or cancelled through the REST API and trigger the same webhooks. Read reservations by branch, status and date for every room and location.
From 29 € a month for up to 5 tables, 99 € for up to 20, and tiers for 10 and 40. Unlimited bookings, walk-ins and covers; you pay for the plan, not for each guest.
Each additional dining room or location gets its own floor plan and subscription under one account, with staff scoped to their location. Other TapTime modules, such as a QR menu or a loyalty card, are priced separately.
Every booking, walk-in and held table occupies a table on the plan for its seating time plus the buffer you set. The booking page and the dashboard only offer tables that are free for that time, so the same table cannot be booked twice.
Copy your TapTime booking page link from the dashboard and paste it as the website link in your Instagram profile, or as the button under your bio. Guests tap it and open the booking page. You can also share it in replies and stories.
Yes. Paste the booking page link into the reservation link field of your Google Business profile. Guests who find you on Google Search or Maps can then book from your listing. It is your own link on the profile, not a separate Google integration.
Yes. Embed the booking form with a short snippet on any page, or link to the booking page from a button. It uses the same tables, rules and availability as every other channel.
Tap a free table on the plan and seat the party. The table shows as busy for everyone until you clear it, so no online booking can be placed on it in the meantime.
Yes. The confirmation email contains a link where the guest can find, change or cancel the booking, protected by a code sent to their phone. The change appears in your list immediately.
From 29 € a month for up to 5 tables, 99 € for up to 20, with tiers for 10 and 40 tables. Paid monthly by card, no contract, no setup fee. The first 14 days are free and no card is needed to start.
After a short grace period the booking page is paused with a brief “temporarily unavailable” note. Your floor plan, tables, zones and booking history are kept. Reactivate the subscription and you can continue where you left off.
No. TapTime reports a booking to Google Ads, Meta and GA4 only when a guest made it online and it is confirmed. Walk-ins seated on the floor plan and bookings your host enters from a call are excluded from your ad reports, so campaigns are credited only for the bookings they generated.
Draw your floor plan, set your booking rules and share your reservation link the same day. Cancel at any time.
