What a service holds

Getting the duration right
Use the time it takes on a normal day, not on your best day. A cut that is booked as 30 minutes and takes 45 makes every later client wait, and the clients who wait are the ones who do not come back.
Buffers
The buffer is the difference between a schedule that survives contact with a real day and one that collapses by eleven. Ten minutes after a haircut, twenty after a treatment room, longer wherever equipment has to be cleaned.
Order and grouping
Drag services into the order clients should read them — most common first, not alphabetically. Group them into categories once you have more than about eight, so nobody has to scroll a wall of text to find a beard trim.
Retiring a service
Deactivate rather than delete. It stops being offered immediately, existing appointments keep it, and your reports still know what it was.
