A specialist is a person clients book time with. Their schedule and their service list together decide what the booking page can offer — nothing else does.

The profile
- Display name — what clients see. First name and initial is usually enough.
- Title — “Colourist”, “Dermatologist”, “Master barber”. It helps a client choose.
- Photo — clients pick a face far more often than a name.
- Short bio — two lines about what they are known for.
- A panel login, if they should see their own calendar.
What each one does
Tick the services this specialist performs. This is the connection that makes “any available specialist” work: a client choosing a color treatment is only ever offered the people who do color.
The weekly schedule
Set the hours each person works, per weekday, with as many ranges as the day has — 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00 for someone who takes a real lunch. Slots are only ever offered inside these hours and inside the location's opening hours, whichever is narrower.
Holidays and one-off changes
Real weeks are not the weekly template. Overrides are the exceptions: a day off, a late start, a Saturday worked as a favour.

Open the specialist's schedule
The weekly grid is on the left, the list of exceptions on the right.

2
Add the date
Either as a day off, or with the hours actually worked that day.

Check the calendar
Existing appointments are not moved by an override. If someone has booked into a day now marked off, you will see it and can call them.
When someone leaves
Deactivate the specialist. They stop being offered immediately; their past appointments and their statistics stay. Move any future bookings to a colleague first, and tell those clients — the page will not do that for you.
Sering ditanyakan
Can one person work at two locations?
Specialists belong to a location. Someone who genuinely splits their week is set up at each, with the days they work there.
Can a specialist edit their own schedule?
If you give them a login with the right role, yes. Many salons keep schedules with the manager and give specialists read-only access to their day.
What if we have no named specialists?
Create one per working position — “Chair 1”, “Room 2”. The arithmetic is the same, and clients book a time rather than a person.
