You call back, they call back, nobody books
A patient rings during a filling. Reception rings back at lunch and gets voicemail. By the evening the cleaning is still not in the diary and both of you have spent the day trying.
Appointments · Dental practices
Your booking page shows the hygienist's free Thursdays and the dentist's free Mondays, and lets the patient take one. No callback at lunchtime, no voicemail, no diary read out loud. From 669 PHP a month for up to 3 specialists, 14 days free.

This is the real booking page and the practice calendar, not a picture of one. Pick a service, a dentist and a time.
You list your services with a duration and a price, and give the dentist and the hygienist their own weekly hours. Patients open your link, choose a service and see only the times still free. The booking drops into one practice calendar, and TapTime sends the confirmation straight away and a reminder 24 hours before the visit.
Every appointment in the practice is arranged by the same person, on the same phone, usually while a patient stands at the desk waiting to pay.
A patient rings during a filling. Reception rings back at lunch and gets voicemail. By the evening the cleaning is still not in the diary and both of you have spent the day trying.
The phone rings while someone is being checked in. One of them has to wait, and it is usually the patient standing in front of you with a card in her hand.
People sort out their teeth once they are home from work. Your line is closed by then, so the appointment goes to the practice whose page is open.
Patients see what is genuinely free and take it. Reception sees every booking on one calendar, beside the ones they typed in themselves.
“When can I come in for a cleaning?” The page shows only the times still open, and the patient takes one. Nothing to look up, nothing to read out loud, nobody to ring back.
Each service carries its own duration, price, category and the buffer you need after it, so the day on the page is the day you can actually work in the surgery.
Every specialist gets a photo, a title and their own weekly hours, plus day-off overrides for a course or a holiday. The page never offers a morning nobody is working.
The patient gets a confirmation email at once and a reminder 24 hours before. If something comes up they cancel or move the visit from that link, and the slot frees itself.
Reception types phone and walk-in appointments into the same calendar. The slot leaves the booking page the second it is written down, so there is no second diary to reconcile.
Confirm automatically, or approve each request by hand. Set the slot step, a minimum notice so nobody takes 08:00 at 07:50, how far ahead the page opens and the cancellation deadline.
No onboarding call, no setup fee, nobody to build you anything. Services, people, hours, link.
Check-up, hygiene appointment, filling: a duration, a price and a buffer after each one. Ten services fit the entry plan and most practices need fewer.
A photo, a title and a weekly schedule each, with days off for courses and holidays. Reception sees everyone; each of them can be limited to their own column.
Your website, your Google Business profile, the Instagram bio, the WhatsApp greeting. The first booking usually arrives the same evening.
| Phone tag versus a booking link, honestly. | Phone and paper diary | TapTime booking page |
|---|---|---|
| A patient wants a cleaning | Calls, leaves a message, waits for the callback | Opens the link, takes Thursday at 14:00 |
| A call at 21:00 | Voicemail, and often nothing after it | Booked and confirmed by email |
| Two people, two sets of hours | Reception holds both of them in their head | Each specialist's own weekly schedule |
| Reminding the patient | Someone phones round, if there is time | Email 24 hours before, automatic |
| A patient cannot come | They call, or they simply do not arrive | They move it from the link and the slot reopens |
| What it costs | A morning of the front desk on the phone | From 669 PHP a month for 3 specialists |
One evening and one morning at a two-chair practice that stopped calling people back.
A patient who has meant to book a cleaning for a month opens the link in the practice's Instagram bio, picks the 40-minute hygiene appointment with Petra and takes Thursday at 14:00. The confirmation reaches her before she is off the sofa.
Reception opens the calendar: two bookings taken overnight and one appointment moved from Friday to Monday by the patient himself. Nothing to transcribe, nobody to ring back.
A regular who will always rather phone asks for something on Friday. Reception types him into 16:20 and the slot disappears from the page while he is still on the line.
Petra looks at tomorrow on her own screen: seven hygiene appointments, ten minutes of buffer after each, and next Thursday morning already blocked out for her course.
Bookings patients make overnight reach reception’s chat and your practice systems on their own. Chat alerts, automations, webhooks, the API and ad conversions come with appointments at no extra cost and no per-event fee.
How conversions, webhooks and the API workA patient’s confirmed online booking can go to Google Ads, Meta and GA4 as a conversion. Meta’s hashed email and phone is a switch you can leave off, and appointments reception types in are never sent.
Using manual approval? Each new request posts to reception’s Microsoft Teams, Slack or Telegram in seconds, with a link to the calendar. Cancellations too, so a freed Thursday 14:00 is seen at once.
Zapier, Make, n8n or Pipedream can add each completed hygiene appointment to a Google Sheet or your CRM, so you know who is due back in six months. No code: paste the address, press Send test.
Signed webhooks send each booking and every status change to your practice software as JSON. The REST API reads appointments and, with a read-write key, confirms or cancels them. Docs are open at /docs/api.
From 669 PHP a month for up to 3 specialists and 10 services. Up to 7 specialists for 1 189 PHP. Bookings, patients and emails are unlimited on every tier.
A second practice gets its own calendar, its own booking link and its own subscription under the same account, with staff scoped to one location. The other TapTime modules are separate; switch them on only if you ever want them.
No. The booking page opens in any phone or computer browser from a link. The patient picks a service, a dentist and a time, leaves a name and contact details and gets an email. Nothing to download, no account to create.
Yes, and many will. Reception types phone and walk-in appointments into the same calendar, and the page stops offering those times, so a phone booking and an online one can never collide.
Yes. Each specialist has their own weekly working hours and their own day-off overrides, so mornings only, alternate Saturdays or a Tuesday course are all normal to the page.
A minimum notice that you set yourself. You also choose the slot step, how far ahead the page lets patients book and the deadline after which they can no longer cancel online.
Your services with their duration and price, your dentists with a photo and a title, and only the times still free. They can ask for a particular dentist or leave it to whoever is available.
Yes. Switch on manual approval and every request waits for the desk to accept it. Leave automatic confirmation on instead and the patient is confirmed the moment they book.
