You are handing us your guest list. Here is exactly what that means.
What TapTime holds
| About | What is stored |
|---|---|
| Your business | Company and location details, hours, menus, floor plans, services, loyalty programs. |
| Your team | Name, email and role of each person you invite. |
| Your guests | What they gave you when booking: name, phone, email, and any note they wrote. |
| Loyalty members | Their account with us — phone number, name — and their activity with your business. |
| Your bill | Company details and invoices. Never the card number. |
Who can see it
- You and the people you invite, according to the role and locations you gave them.
- Us, only to run the service and to answer you when you ask for help.
- Nobody else. Guest data is not sold, rented or used to advertise anything.
When a guest asks about their data
A loyalty member can see and delete their own account from the guest page. For a guest who booked a table or an appointment, the record belongs to your business — write to us and we will help you find, correct or remove it.
Getting your data out
Your reports can be exported, and if you are leaving and want a fuller copy, ask us. It is your data; we will not make you fight for it.
Closing your account
-
1
Stop your subscriptions
So nothing further is charged. Each runs to the end of its paid period.
-
2
Export anything you want to keep
Reports, guest lists, your menu.
-
3
Write to us to close it
We confirm who you are, then delete the account and its data.
Frequently asked
Where is our data stored?
On servers in the European Union, whichever market your business trades in. If you need the specifics for a compliance review, write to us and we will send them.
Can I get a data processing agreement?
Yes. Write to us and we will send one for signature — it is a routine request and most venues with corporate clients need it.
If I close the account, are my guests' loyalty cards deleted?
Cards for your program end. A guest's TapTime account is theirs and stays, with the cards they hold from other businesses.
Thank you — that helps us make these guides better.
Write to us and quote the page you were on. A person reads every message and answers in the language you wrote in.
