See where your bookings come from (UTM tags)

Tag your links, and every booking, order and menu view remembers the campaign, ad or website that brought the guest.

Every guest who follows a link to your TapTime page, your menu or your booking widget carries its campaign with them: the UTM tags in the link, the click id Google, Meta, Microsoft or TikTok add to ad clicks, and the website they came from. TapTime keeps it with the booking, the order or the menu view that follows — so you can see which posts, ads and partners actually fill tables.

Add UTM parameters to any link to your page, for example: https://tapti.me/your-venue?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=summer_terrace

ParameterWhat to put in itExample
utm_sourceWhere the link isinstagram, google, newsletter, partner-hotel
utm_mediumWhat kind of linksocial, cpc, email, qr
utm_campaignWhich campaignsummer_terrace, valentines
utm_term / utm_contentOptional detail — a keyword or which of two adsbrunch, video-a

Ad clicks need nothing extra: Google Ads (gclid), Meta (fbclid), Microsoft (msclkid) and TikTok (ttclid) add their click id to the link themselves. An affiliate or tracker’s own id arrives through click_id, clickid or subid.

How long a campaign is remembered

A guest often opens your page, reads the menu, leaves and books two days later. TapTime remembers the last campaign a guest arrived with for 30 days on their device, and a later visit without tags does not erase it.

Where you see it

  • On the booking itself — open any reservation or appointment on the board to see “Where this booking came from”.
  • On the dashboard — “Where bookings come from” shows the top sources and campaigns of the last 30 days.
  • In exports — the CSV and Excel links on the booking calendars, and Reports → Data export, which adds menu views and orders.
  • In integrations — every webhook, API response and conversion sent to Google or Meta carries it.

Sering ditanyakan

Why does a booking show no source?

The guest typed your address in, came from a link without tags, or blocks storage in their browser. Tag the links you control and most bookings will carry a source.

Do guests see the tags?

Only in the address bar of the link they opened. Nothing about the campaign is shown on the booking page or in the guest’s confirmation.
