Azerbaijan: Pulpal, Epoint, Kapital, Birbank, ABB, m10, Portmanat

Every provider below onboards businesses registered in Azerbaijan. Get the merchant contract first; the connection itself is ten minutes.

Pulpal

A payment service provider with a self-serve merchant cabinet — usually the quickest of the Azerbaijani options to get running.

Sign in to the Pulpal merchant cabinet
As the merchant, not as a payer.

Open your shop's integration settings
The merchant identifier and the key are issued per shop.

Copy both values
The key signs requests in both directions, so it is a secret and must not be shared.

Field in TapTime	Where it comes from
Merchant ID	The identifier of your shop in the Pulpal cabinet.
Merchant key	The signing key issued with it. Secret.

Epoint

Epoint issues a key pair rather than a password: the public key names your shop and the private key both signs what you send and proves what comes back.

Public key	Issued with your merchant account, in the Epoint merchant cabinet.
Private key	Issued alongside it. Secret — it is what signs your requests.

Kapital Bank

Kapital's e-commerce gateway authenticates with a client certificate issued during onboarding, not with a key you can generate yourself. Ask your account manager for the e-commerce package.

You will receive a merchant id, a client certificate and a private key, usually as files.

Open the files in a plain text editor
Not Word. The contents must be pasted exactly, BEGIN and END lines included.

Paste each into its field
And the passphrase, if the bank set one on the key.

Merchant ID	On the onboarding documents from the bank.
Client certificate (PEM)	The certificate file the bank issued.
Private key (PEM)	The key file issued with it.
Key passphrase	Only if the bank set one. Leave empty otherwise.

Birbank

Birbank acquires through the same gateway as Kapital and asks for exactly the same four fields. Follow the Kapital steps above with the credentials Birbank issued you.

ABB

ABB acquires through the UPC gateway, which authenticates with a client certificate and answers on a host the bank gives you at onboarding.

Gateway host	On the bank's onboarding sheet. Enter the hostname only — no https:// and no trailing slash.
Client certificate (PEM)	The certificate the bank issued.
Private key (PEM)	The key issued with it.
Key passphrase	If the bank set one.

m10 Business

The wallet's merchant product. The merchant id names the wallet the money lands in; the key and secret authenticate the calls.

Field in TapTime	Where it comes from
Merchant ID	Your merchant profile in m10 Business.
API key	Generated in the merchant profile's API section.
API secret	Issued with the key, and shown once. Store it before closing the page.

Portmanat

Field in TapTime	Where it comes from
Merchant ID	Your merchant account with Portmanat.
Secret key	Issued with it, in the merchant cabinet. Secret.

Do not forget the callback

Every provider here needs our callback address saved in their portal, or payments will start and never be confirmed. The address is on the provider's panel in TapTime, with a copy button.

Which one should I choose?

Usually whichever your bank already gives you the best rate on. If you have no contract yet, the self-serve providers are quicker to start with than a bank gateway.

Can I use Stripe in Azerbaijan?

Only if you already hold a Stripe account through an entity Stripe supports. For a business registered in Azerbaijan, a local provider is the practical answer.

Do I need a separate contract for test mode?

Most providers here issue test credentials with the live ones. Ask for both at onboarding.
