The weekly pattern
- Hours per weekday, with as many ranges as the day needs — 11:30–15:00 and 18:00–23:00 for a kitchen that closes in the afternoon.
- A closed day is a day with no ranges at all.
- Hours after midnight belong to the day they started on: a bar open until 02:00 on Friday night has Friday running to 02:00.
What reads them

Closed dates
These are the exceptions to the pattern: annual holidays, national holidays you do not open on, a private hire, the refit. Add them and those days disappear from every booking page.
The timezone
Each location has its own, and every time you see in the panel is in that location's zone. Times are stored in universal time underneath, which is what keeps a booking correct when the clocks change.

Can the kitchen close before the bar?
Opening hours are per location. Where the kitchen stops earlier, most venues express it in the menu — a category with an availability window — rather than in the hours.
Do I have to update the hours for a public holiday?
Only if you are doing something different. If you are closed, add a closed date; if you are open with your usual hours, do nothing.
Can two locations have different hours?
Yes, always — hours belong to a location, not to the business. A terrace bar that opens at four and a dining room that opens at eleven are simply two locations with two patterns.
