Online booking · Tire season

Tire season booked by the quarter hour instead of queued at the gate.

Publish the wheel swap with its real duration, choose the slot step and how late a driver may still take a time, and two frantic weeks turn into a list with names on it. Every driver gets a confirmation, a reminder 24 hours before and a link to move the appointment. From $39 a month, 14 days free.

This is the real booking page and the calendar behind it, not a video. Take a slot and watch it leave the page.

How do you take bookings for a seasonal tire change?

You publish the wheel swap as a service with its real duration and price, pick a slot step — every 15 or 30 minutes — and a minimum notice, and the page offers only the times still free. Drivers take a slot, get a confirmation and a reminder 24 hours before, and can move it from the link. With TapTime the queue becomes a list.

For two weeks a year the yard is a queue and the phone never stops.

The first ice arrives on a Thursday and so does everybody's winter set. Cars stand along the fence, the crew works through lunch, and three people call while you have the gun in your hand.

01

They all come on the same Saturday

Nobody comes in October when you ask them to. They come the morning after the first frost, forty of them at once, and forty cars do not fit in a day.

02

The phone is useless in season

It rings while a wheel is off the hub. You miss the call, the driver rings the shop down the road instead, and you never even knew he existed.

03

An hour in the cold is remembered in spring

A queue you never promised still feels like your fault. The driver who stood outside for ninety minutes books somewhere else when it is time to put the summer set back on.

The season, cut into slots you can actually keep.

Four settings decide the shape of your two busiest weeks: the duration of a swap, the slot step, the minimum notice and how far ahead the page opens.

The wheel swap as a bookable job

Seasonal wheel swap, 45 minutes, with a price and a buffer after it. Balancing and puncture repair sit next to it as their own services with their own times.

A slot step that matches the bay

Set the step to 15, 20 or 30 minutes so the page offers times your fitters can hold. A slot that is taken is gone for the next driver instantly.

Minimum notice and booking horizon

Decide how close to the hour a driver may still book and how many days ahead the page opens. Three weeks in season, two hours' notice at the counter: both are settings.

A reminder 24 hours before

Everyone gets a confirmation when they book and a reminder the day before, so fewer winter sets stay in a hallway while your bay stands empty.

Rescheduling instead of a no-show

The driver moves or cancels from the link in his email. The slot goes back on the page the same second and the next person in a hurry takes it.

Every fitter and bay in the plan

Give each fitter or bay its own hours, including the extra Saturday you open in season. The page counts them all and offers only what is genuinely free.

Set it up in October, work a calm November.

No onboarding call, no setup fee, nothing to install. An hour before the season starts is enough.

  1. 01

    Add the season's jobs

Wheel swap, balancing, puncture repair: minutes, price and a buffer for each. Ten services fit the entry plan.

  2. 02

Set the step, the notice and the horizon

A 15-minute step, two hours' minimum notice, three weeks of horizon. Your season in three settings, changed any time.

  3. 03

Send the link out before the frost

Google Business profile, Instagram bio, your website, a WhatsApp reply to everyone who asks. Bookings arrive while the shop is shut.

Saturday morning in season Twenty cars along the fence Twenty names, each with a time
A driver asks when to come “Come early and wait” He takes 08:15 and gets it in writing
The phone during a wheel change Ringing, unanswered, all day The page answers; the gun keeps running

The first Saturday of the season, 07:45, at Nordic Tire Shop.

The busiest morning of the year, run from a list instead of from the gate.

  1. Eleven wheel swaps on the screen, one every fifteen minutes from eight, plus two balancing jobs in the afternoon. Nobody is standing at the fence.

  2. A driver arrives for his slot, hands over the keys and sits down with a coffee. His set is on and torqued before the coffee goes cold.

  3. A regular calls: he cannot get here today. You point him at the link in his confirmation email, he moves to Tuesday, and someone takes the freed slot over lunch.

  4. You close on time. Next week's list already has twenty-two names on it, and Sunday will add more while the shop is dark.

Your first-frost tire campaign, measured in booked wheel swaps instead of clicks

Run the season’s ads and see which one filled Saturday. Conversions, chat alerts, Zapier and Make, webhooks, postbacks and the API are included with appointments at no extra cost, with no per-event fee however busy it gets.

  • Google Ads
  • Meta
  • Google Analytics 4

Each campaign credited with its wheel swaps

A driver who taps your Meta ad on Monday and books on Thursday is still credited: the campaign is remembered for 30 days. Google Ads, Meta and GA4 get the confirmed swap as a conversion at its price.

A cancelled slot seen in seconds, mid-season

When a driver cancels Saturday’s 09:15, your Telegram group or Discord hears it in seconds, so whoever is at the counter can offer it to the driver waiting at the gate. New bookings and no-shows can post too.

  • Zapier
  • Make
  • n8n
  • Pipedream

This autumn’s drivers, invited back in spring

With Zapier or Make, no code, every driver who books a winter swap lands in a Mailchimp list or a Google Sheet, so you can ask the same people to book the summer set in April.

  • Webhooks
  • REST API

Postbacks for the agency running your season

An ad tracker gets its postback URL with the booking id, status, value and click id filled in. Signed webhooks and the REST API hand every booking of the season to your own system.

Priced by fitters, not by wheels.

From $39 a month for up to 3 fitters or bays and 10 services, $69 for up to 7. Bookings are unlimited, which is the point in the fortnight when everything happens at once. Fourteen days free, no card, cancel any time.

Fitting at two addresses? Each site runs its own page and subscription under one account. If the shop also does repairs, the same calendar holds those jobs too; other TapTime modules are switched on separately.

What tire shops ask before the season starts.

Do customers need an app?

No. The driver opens the booking page in the phone's browser, picks a time and confirms with a name and an email address. Nothing to install, on any iPhone or Android.

Can I take bookings every 15 minutes?

Yes. The slot step is a setting: 15, 20 or 30 minutes, whatever the bay can hold. Each service still blocks the minutes it really takes plus its buffer, so the step does not overfill the day.

How do I stop someone booking a slot ten minutes from now?

Set a minimum notice. Anything closer than that disappears from the page, so nobody takes the slot your fitter has already started working towards.

Can I limit how far ahead the season opens?

Yes, the booking horizon decides how many days the page shows. Open three weeks when the frost comes and pull it back to a few days when things are quiet again.

What about drivers who simply turn up?

Serve them the way you do now and type the job into the calendar. Entered jobs and online bookings are one list, so the times you fill by hand are blocked on the page as well.

Do the reminders go out by SMS?

No. Confirmations and reminders are emails; TapTime does not send SMS. The driver gets the confirmation when he books and the reminder 24 hours before, and both carry the link to move or cancel.

We are only this busy twice a year — what does it cost?

From $39 a month for up to 3 fitters and 10 services, billed monthly by card with no contract. Start free for 14 days before the season and cancel any time after it.

What happens if I stop paying?

After a short grace period the booking page pauses and shows a brief “temporarily unavailable” note. Nothing is deleted: your services, fitters, hours and bookings are all there next season.

Can I tell which tire season ad actually brought bookings?

Yes. TapTime stores the UTM tags, the ad click id and the referrer on every online booking and shows them as booking sources on the dashboard. Confirmed bookings go to Google Ads, Meta and GA4 as conversions, and swaps you type in for drivers at the gate are never counted.
