These markets are served by regional gateways rather than one dominant provider. All are straightforward; two of the Moldovan banks use the certificate gateway you will recognize if you have set up a bank terminal before.
WSPay (Serbia, Montenegro)
A regional gateway used widely across the western Balkans. Two fields, both from your shop in the WSPay merchant portal.
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Shop ID | The shop registered in your WSPay account. |
| Secret key | Issued with the shop, and used to sign. Secret. |
CorvusPay (Serbia, Montenegro)
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Store ID | The store in your CorvusPay merchant account. |
| Secret key | Issued with the store. Secret. |
Monri WebPay (Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Monri gives three values: two that authenticate you and an authenticity token that identifies the shop on the payment form.
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Merchant ID | Your Monri merchant account. |
| Merchant key | Issued with it. Secret. |
| Authenticity token | Shown with the shop's settings in the Monri panel. |
Paysera Checkout (Kosovo)
Kosovo's banks each run their own closed virtual POS, so the local option here is Paysera, which is licensed in Kosovo and onboards Kosovo businesses. Guests pay by card, by bank link or transfer with the local banks, or from a Paysera account. Stripe is the alternative if you already hold an account.
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Project ID | Your Paysera account → Projects and activities → your project. A number. |
| Project password | The same project's general settings. Secret — it signs every payment and callback. |
maib ecommerce (Moldova)
maib acquires through the UPC gateway: a client certificate, a private key and the host the bank issues.
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Gateway host | On the bank's onboarding sheet. Hostname only, without https://. |
| Client certificate (PEM) | Issued by the bank. |
| Private key (PEM) | Issued with it. Secret. |
| Key passphrase | If the bank set one. |
Victoriabank (Moldova)
The same gateway and the same four fields as maib, with Victoriabank's own host and certificate.
Paynet (Moldova)
Paynet authenticates with an API user rather than a certificate, which makes it the quickest Moldovan option to connect.
| Field in TapTime | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Merchant code | Your merchant code from Paynet. |
| API user | The API login issued for your merchant. |
| API password | Its password. Secret. |
| Signature key | Only if your Paynet contract signs callbacks. Leave empty otherwise. |
Frequently asked
Which provider is most common in Serbia?
WSPay and CorvusPay both have wide bank coverage. The practical question is which one your bank already partners with.
What should an Albanian venue use?
A bank virtual POS through the NestPay entry, or Stripe if you already hold an account.
Montenegro uses the euro — does that change anything?
Not for the connection. Which currencies you can accept is a question for your merchant contract.
